Thank you for looking. I was lucky with a small window of calm water aligned with one of the most beautiful places in the Northeast.
Thanks! Yes, I had been wanting to visit this area for a while and will be back for sure. The Upper Works/Flowed Lands area is great.
great! did you go backpacking back there? thinking of heading down for an overnighter, maybe at Wallface to get to know the area... but seeing this makes me want to go there instead!
Thanks Anita, yes ,we stayed at one of the lean-to's along the south side of Flowed Lands. The Lean-to's there are very popular on the weekends and it is tough to get the best ones. There were some good campsites though. If you want any more info, let me know, I learned alot about the area because I knew I would be back!
Yeah man, magic spot. Thanks for checkin it out!
Awesome shot, rasgoat!
Fantastic shot, and nice to see such a familiar place captured like this.
Thanks! It is good to be able to represent a gorgeous area that is that gorgeous!
never looked so good! Great picture! Looks like a beautiful area.
Thanks man! It really is.
Thanks for posting. I've only been there when it was frozen. Perhaps I should go when it's not winter.
Funny, I was wanting to see it frozen one day! and walk to the middle.
...My first backpacking trip through there. Even back then, the tents sites near the lean-tos were packed hard and impermeable to rain.
Sounds like a good time
Amazing shot...one of those pics that instantly lowers my blood pressure.
Thank you very much. A trip up the Trap Dike will bring that blood pressure up instantly!
Just checked it out...SWEET!!
