On our way to drive up Independence Pass shortly after it opened we drove from Colorado Springs to the Buena Vista area on May 31, 2016. Attached are a few of the scenes starting with passing Pikes Peak and then stopping at the best view along this valley, Collegiate Peaks Scenic Overlook.
