very nicely written! When Noah and I were driving back from Ice Climbing at Lake City that weekend, and passed the turn off for Creede on Hwy 50, we started musing about how difficult that climb would be, and how cool it was that you were giving it a go. Sounds like quite the adventure!
Actually, it's about average for that time of year. Problem is that everything has been so dry and cold this year. Low precip too. The bulk of the snow is treeline and below.
Now, the Sawatch and Elk Mountains....they're loaded!
