Guido..

A man at work told me there was a resort or
restaurant located on the shores of Convict
Lake.

He also told me that they serve "Convict Stew" inside the restaurant, if it indeed
exists.. is that true?

Yes, there is a restaurant at the Convict Lake Resort. It's near the lake but not at the shore. The food is excellent and pricey. I am not sure about the Convict Stew, never heard of it. Although I have eaten there many times, I don't pretend to know their entire menu though. Cheers.
