Corkscrew Peak and Death Valley Buttes

Seen from the Kit Fox Hills. This photo also illustrates how narrow the ridge crests are out here. They are steeper on their sides than they look here, and when the ridges themselves climb at a steep grade, the going is treacherous because the composition of the rock is akin to gravel in its solidity.
