Windy
Came up from Slate Canyon, tried shortcutting past Boardman Spring, got cut up but did make it to the road. Went up standard route at end of road, came down on the diagonal bulldozer line. It was real warm and crazy windy at the passes. Other than a couple people who passed me going up Slate Canyon and a couple of people in side-by-sides, I was alone the whole day

from Squaw Peak road
with WMC group. We accessed the peak by hiking sloping ramps (from CCC days) that look like heavy motorized equipment (bulldozer?) roads that link each terrace to the next above. Although with some dense vegetation here and there, a trail is worn into this route and it worked well for us.

Corral Mountain
From Camel Pass along the South Ridge over Corral's south peak to Corral Mountain. A bit of a bushwhack in spots but otherwise an enjoyable ridge hike. Almost stepped on a porcupine on the ridge between South Corral and Corral.

Corral for Mountain
I'm not sure how far it is round trip, but it felt about 6 miles. It took 2 hours to reach the summit, hitting the peak ZeeJay mentioned along the way. It was a great day for a hike. It wasn't too strenuous, so I would recommend this hike for lazy people or for days when you want to be lazy.

Snow, Snow, Snow
This was actually an incredible mountain! Bagged another peak with a massive carin on top along the way. There was a hunter sitting on top of its perch. He didn't seem to be amused by us in the least. The ridge was actually a lot of fun! This section of mountains isn't exactly known for having the best ridge. (I'm looking at you East ridge of Provo Peak) The views looking towards Provo and East Provo were stunning! The snow capped Uintas were gorgeous, also there was some snow in the shady spots. I quite liked the Corral, not Coral, which I kept calling it.

Cold, cloudy summer day
The Squaw Peak road was in pretty rough shape, but the views were incredible! It was all cloudy and gray at first, but the clouds eventually dispersed. Everything is extremely green with lots of wildflowers and patches of snow. I didn't find any summit register, but there was a Ziploc bag with a weather-worn note, a baby picture and a coin.
I think it took about an hour to drive each way from my home in Provo; plan on two or three hours driving time. The hike and the views were definitely worth it. I look forward to hiking in this area again. The ridge line is awesome.

Fun snow climb. Also did 10260 which is 2 bumps south down the ridge.

Ski Tour
Took a snowmobile up the Squaw Peak road from the Hobble Creek side to within about 2 miles of Kolob basin overlook. Skinned up to Kolob basin and then up the west ridge to the top of Corral Mountain (I'm assuming the top of the west ridge is the peak ????). Skied south along the ridge to the farest ridge that goes east, then skied down to the Squaw Peak road. Was surprised to see others ski tracks on the top of the mountain.

Hiked in the clouds
One of the more foolish times to go hiking. It was 34 degrees at the trailhead, and the cloud ceiling had dropped to just under 9000ft. Oh yeah, and it was the second weekend of deer season. I was lucky not to get shot since visibility was so limited. Probably not one of the brightest things I've done. It took about two and a half hours to the summit. I think I was more excited to get back to the truck without getting shot instead of making it to the top. Unfortunately, no views due to the cloud cover. Two hours down. I'll definitely do this one again. A little routefinding from the terrace to the top of the ridge.
