To those who have added to this page, thanks. I was the original submitter and I am glad to see that much good info has been added since it was put up for adoption. I have only been there once and failed at my summit attempt which probably was reflected in the "weak or minimal" amount of info I originally included on the page. A very good page now! 4-stars.
Thanks fellas, do appreciate the kind words. I just love this mountain and Quito. Love to go back again some day.
I do think its turned out to be a good page w/everyones input.
Good work thanks for the improvement. A gear list would be helpful. What foot gear would be best. Cheers William
Nice page with lots of good information and tips! I just added a trip report link to Chris Anthony's trip report for his ascent with the Warren Miller 50 crew as a ski mountaineer. Great reading.
Im planning a trip back to Ecuador. Thanks for the info. Looks like good stuff.
Sure, have fun! its a great place, but seriously, keep your eyes open for muggers. Just being aware i think goes along way and wondering out at night. Just be careful and youll be fine.
the climbing is great and well worth the trip!
we are thinking about going back to Chimborazo as well. We'll see.
Your welcome, and good luck, youll love Ecuador'
thanks for the vote!
A very great page for a great volcano!
Nice page! I think I have to climb this mountain now!
nice page worthy of such a cool mountain and dope country. thanks for puttin it together.
The page is starting to show its age. SP1 format. No updates on condition of the mountain or Ecuador. Solid page, just a little age.
nice pictures and page
Nice page. Still dreaming of climbing this peak someday.
Great page!!! Very informative.
The page is much better now. Thanks for giving it the face lift. Good one now!
Live links wouldn't hurt.
What currency do you suggest as an alternative to the $US of the beaten track in Ecuador?
Good point radson.
I didn't know the dollarization process has become official. It was under way the two times I was in Ecuador, but the dollars could not be used at all in some rural areas. It was even offensive to try in some parts. I now read the declaration of making it official in 2002 and get rid of the Sucre until economical stability is reached.
You also made me have a look at the page and it's much better now as, many changes has been made.
I will up the vote.
nice page, lots of good infos, thanks for the good work.
