From Twin Bridges  Sucess!

From Twin Bridges, I've always wanted to hike up Horsetail Falls so this option let me check off 2 boxes. This is quite a bit more difficult than starting from Echo Lakes, in distance, elevation gain and terrain. Sections are trailless and in other areas tough to follow. Its easy to have this be a class 3 climb, which we did.

Our route was from the top of the falls to Ropi Lake, where we had a thigh deep crossing of the oulet to the falls (Pyramid Creek). From there to Lake of the Woods, then Lake Aloha. Once we finally got to the Crag the ascent was straightforward. Attained the south ridge and it's easy enough from there.
