Crag Lough (Hadrians Wall)

Crag Lough (Hadrians Wall)

Hikers on top of Crag Lough next to Hadrians Wall. The wall is 2nd century and built by the Romans. Despite its proximity to the top of the crag it is frowned upon to belay directly from it.. Though very tempting! The hikers consist of my wife (standing) and friends during the traverse of the Hadrians Wall Pathway (84 miles)

Camping?

Are campsites situated along the Hadrian's Wall Pathway? Or is lodging available along the way?

Hi Bob, The route is now well established with the options of camping/B&Bs and pub accommodation throughout. My wife used the above website to plan overnight stays. Bw John
