Craner Peak Splattski

Craner Peak Splattski

On the 16th of January, SP member imontop and a friend of his enjoyed a winter hike to the top of Craner Peak. It was COLD (aka brrrrr) so this get up really helped. We hiked up out of the fog with snow most all of the way. Great views with the fog down below us. 1-16-10

Prone to believe that

everybody knows I'm a complete coward when it
comes to cold weather.

Hey, at least you had the proper attire, and
your arm was steady (not shaking) when you
snapped the pic. Outstanding shot, Dean !! !

Re: Prone to believe that

Very kind of you to say that. I had to take my gloves off to work the camera and the camera itself froze up after about every two pics and I'd have to put it back inside my jacket to warm it up. Now when Dennis sees this pic he'll say something like "hey, that's a good pic of you"

Re: Prone to believe that

I haven't seen or heard from Dennis for a very
long while.

Where's he been? Out chasing moose ??? : ))

Re: Prone to believe that

He's been very active posting peaks, routes and trip reports lately. He also has been hiking/driving to many many peaks in Oregon
and Nevada. I'm hoping to hook up with him in two weeks for some southern Nevada peaks.
