The summertime temps were bearable as it was early mid-morning with overcast skies and cool air from an earlier rain. I hiked this one with Steven Stembridge after parking my Jeep at a 5,360 ft. elevation at a point on the ridge south of Burro Spring (another 1/4 mile to the southwest of the end of the jeep trail as shown on the map). The jeep trail was steep requiring 4-wheel-low and the use of axle locks. The hike was pleasant - especially for July. We also bagged Peak 1669 (meters) on the way home. It is a mile and a half due north of Crescent Pk.
Next explored WalkingBox Road and went up Hart later in the day.

After a morning spent strolling up Kokoweef Peak (via nice 4th class east headwall) and searching for the "Lost River of Gold", we wandered up Crescent Peak. Surprisingly nice views of Hart, Castle, Spirit, Clark, etc.
