Crossing towards Hals
The crossing from Gumpedall saddle towards Hals is a bit more demanding (not seen here). The slopes of Eggenkofel are being cut by many big, unpleasant ravines and the marked path does quite a few ups and downs. On this picture we already see the meadows of Hals, but we still have to cross the last and the biggest ravine, characterised by red sandstone rocks. June 11th, 2017.
