Crux on upper glacier of Aberdeen
The crux on the upper glacier on Aberdeen is crossing the schrund and climbing up past the rocks on the snow strip on the right of the rocks and on the left hand side of the glacier. This is better snow coverage than most recent years.
Note the serac fall activity to the right.
