Pretty shocked at the appalling lack of snow for early December - there was NONE! Still, this was a beautiful autumn hike to a surprisingly spectacular summit! Poor Lela (white shepherd mix) was too much of a wus to make the summit, so she had to wait at the base of the boulders.
