Culebra Range

Looking north from the saddle between Mariquita Peak and De Anza Peak. The Sierra Blancas (Little Bear, Blanca & Ellingwood Point) are in the far distance. These are some beautiful but isolated mountains. We had a huge storm roll in and created white-out conditions that lasted until the next afternoon. I was forced to make an emergency bivy after getting seperated. March, 2012
