i also made some nice squirrel pics at the californian coast (la jolla cove) years ago on a trip with school.
Thanks. Yes, it was not shy at all. There were many running all around the cliffs. I wondered how many tunnels there were underneath our feet on that "unstable" cliff. Cheers.
Cute picture. I know what Flow is talking about though. Those squirrels in La Jolla Cove have gone past being comfortable with humans are will come right up to you if given the chance.
thanks. I know what you mean. Those I saw at the cliffs were still shy. They were curious enough to peek out of their holes but disappeared very quickly if I got closer. Cheers.
shot. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks. Cheers. Guido
Very nice detail and a cute critter! Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome and thanks for your vote. Cheers.
curious squirrels when I worked in Sequoia
NP. Then, came the day when I observed a
large rattlesnake eating one of those squirrels.
Perhaps the squirrel was TOO curious?

Yes, sometimes being too curious can get you into trouble. That must have been an interesting sight with the rattler eating the squirrel. Thanks for your vote. Cheers, Guido
Yep, but those snakes gotta eat something.
They can't catch din-din at Circle K!!! :)
So it might be a (fluffy tough) rocky sea squirrel, I think:)
Yes, I think you nailed it :-) Cheers, Guido
A look of squirrel is so impressive, and precious. Many thanks for posting!
Thanks for your nice words and vote. Cheers.
as I see you've got some nice collection of squirrels here, awesome!
