Cut Bank Ridge

View west from the top of Cut Bank Ridge. This spot was reached after following a primitive trail along Glacier's eastern boundary. Mad Wolf Mountain as at far left. To the right, the next two summits being to Bad Marriage Mountain; the true summit is obscured from view. The prominent peak farther back and to the right with a small snowfield is Mount James, tallest in the Cut Bank area. The next highest peak to the right is Amphitheater Mountain, and the long ridge of Kupunkamint Mountain sprawls all the way to the edge of the frame. August 10, 2014
