nice route

Nice route. If I'm thinking of the right couloir that you're referring to (the needle), that must've been a good climb--even better descent. I'd love to ski Coalpit, but I'm not even close to pretending I've got the avy skill to pick the right moment.

the past couple years, the january high pressure cycle seemed to be good for that line. there's always spring if you don't mind a little work on the exit. you seem to enjoy the downclimbing and bushwacking though.



i'll hit that line again this coming year. let me know if you want a heads up on the conditions.
