Blue Ridge Rd/Devil's Backbone
Continued on from Pine Mountain to Dawson. Near the summit ran into a backpacking family setting up camp for the night. They had spent prior night on windy Baldy and had traversed saddle between Baldy and Dawson. Skiers still skiing down narrow north side snow tongues on Baldy. Good views from Dawson of Victor Valley and east towards San Gorgonio and San Jacinto
Nice add-on to a Pine Mountain trip. I've also done this as part of a traverse from Wrightwood to Baldy Village.

I stopped here after tagging Pine Mountain. Not enough time or motivation to continue on to Baldy. Besides, I left my crampons in the car. Nice day, though. Kind of chilly for Memorial Day weekend.
