it doesn't quite look right

Cap too shiny and no specks on it, and of course one can't see if there is a ring / veil around the stem.
Not that it looks like any good 'shroom I know though...

I don't think so...

MOCKBA. As I've could read in the link below (in Spanish) it only could be mixed up with Tricholoma equestre or the green russulas. You can't see the ring/veil because the grass is too high in the image. It's been rainy since thursday. By the way, if you expand the pic you can see the radial fibers on the cap.

T. equestre or the green russulas

It doesn't look like green russula and I am not so familiar with tricholomas 'cuz they were not considered edible in my family tradition.
It goes without saying that one should never eat a 'shroom which one can't positively identify as good :) So we can agree that it is a good idea to leave you mushroom alone.

But, Diego, even if it was A. phalloides, your picture didn't really capture the special features of deathcap amanitas. That's the gist of my comment.

Re: T. equestre or the green russulas

I know it MOCKBA, there were other death caps in the area but they were in terrible conditions. Their caps were flater than the one in the pic

Probably best not

to make an omlette with this one. One guy asked me(when I was a kid) just to pick a bunch of mushrooms in the forest. His wife sorted them out and he was feeling well when I saw him a week later so I was relieved.
