Trees Above Deep Creek Lake in Full GLory October 8, 2011 While I have mostly hiked in this area, there are four-seasons of beauty here. With 65 miles of shoreline, Deep Creek Lake in Garrett County is Maryland’s largest freshwater lake. There are plenty of choices in this four-season resort area: fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, biking and golf.

Never been much for golf ..

The ball's too small. Somebody needs to reinvent the game, and make the ball bigger.

Besides, these trees would be a major
distraction if I were golfing.

Swimming and hiking are my cup of tea.

Hiking is definitely more for me especially with a view like this!
