Hiking it from the East

FYI: This peak can also be done from the Holcomb Valley Road/PCT intersection. Hike WEST along the PCT, and note when you cross over the ridge from the Big bear Valley to the Holcomb Valley. About 30-45 minutes more hiking westward you'll encounter a really rough 4WD road going straight uphill. Hike up this 'road' and it'll turn into a trace trail that ends at the summit plateau. about 6 miles round trip. Can also be accesses by hiking up the Cougar Crest Trail to the PCT then hiking west to Holcomb Valley Road. About 11 miles RT for this option.
