June 14, 2007 – Chris Nolin and Trevor Urban were two of the guys in the group ahead of me on summit day. It was a clear beautiful afternoon, and their group and I were the only ones on the summit. Chris just e-mailed me this photo that Trevor took of me soloing the final ridge. Thanks guys!!!!!

Awesome shot!

I'm so glad you made it Eileen! Isn't it a great feeling to be there without all the crowds? I just wish I could have one of those shots. May have to go back just for that... ;)

Congrats, Eileen! Awesome job, & it's always great to get really good photos from big trips like that- the memories are done justice with photos like this! I want to ask you some Qs about Aconcagua. Can I talk to you soon? PM me.

Ah that's great you meet up with kindred folks from this site. And I'm so envious that you were just in Calgary! Do you get over there very often? A buddy of mine there, old school, is a top mountaineer in the Rockies, a number of first ascents and still active at 70+, running and skiing like he was 20. A great weekend to you there!
