Kahiltna Glacier
Once we landed on the Kahiltna, it was a long and strenuous climb. We made camps at 7,200 ft, 7,800 ft and 9,000 ft. Once we reached 11,200 ft, we took a short break.
Camp 14K > Headwall > West Buttress
Upon reaching 14k, everybody was quite exhausted. We took a rest day and then proceeded to climb the headwall without any controversy. We then climbed the west buttress to camp 17k
20,320 ft!
I've never panted so hard in my entire life! But I couldn't help but cry my heart out when I reached the summit!
The gang!
