Initially I was concerned that the extreme early August heat had melted most of the Dent Blanche reducing it to an 8000 foot mountain while turning the La Val d'Herens into a lake. But seriously these alps look very nice in their own right. We are told how to get there, about the camping and the weather-all of which should help hikers get to the top of the various Dents.
