tunnel vision
nice 3P, 5.6 climb with mike. didn't expect there to be a tunnel en route, definitely the highlight of the climb!

Better than expected
This route was better than I expected. The first pitch was typical Flatiron slab but after that the rock had many interesting knobby features and pockets and the tunnel was a lot of fun. After we rapped from the summit we played around on "What if You're Not" on the west face... incredibly fun sport route, 5.7 but very steep and juggy, felt like a gym climb!
Climbed with Jamie, this was my first flatiron climb - being from the Vail area I just don't get down to Boulder. It was a great introduction as there was a nice variety of slabs, pockets and knobs on this route. The tunnel was interesting, I didn't expect it.
