Sunrise or Sunset?What a beautiful photo! Its always great to be high in the mountain at that special time in day. I just wonder was that at sunrise or sunset? At this moment I'm lazy to check is St.Helens south of Rainier. If it is then ofcourse its sunrise :-)

Re: Sunrise or Sunset?Yes it was Sunrise, we reached the peak around 5:00 am. This photo was during the decent, probably 750' below the summit.

I like it!This picture has a real feeling! It's the best time of the day, it's natural. People are not posing, even the horison is tilted a bit, but that doesn't matter. This one has a great feeling!

Wonderful colors.......in the morning light. Isn't that Mt. Adams on the horizon? Maybe the shot is before May 1980.
