Nostalgia

Hi guys! The pic made me remember my days as a geology assistant with the famous James D Aitken back in the late '50! We climbe Bosworth 4 times in a 2 week period, collecting rocks from the various Cambrian formations, to analyse what had gone on those hundreds of millions of years ago (Jim figured it out, I of course knew nothing). One thing I did notice was that the colours of flowers changed depending on the rock type, eg. from limestone to dolomite would cause colour change. Wonderful views of the spiral tunnel from the top, and we loved glissanding down the leftover snow patches, even with 50lb of rock samples in our packs.

Cheers, keep climbing!

Ted
