I was up there on Feb. 12, 2017 (used Zdon's route). The summit register canister, which is simply a plastic jar, is leaky, and the register was soaked. So I did not get to sign it. :(
If you are going up, please take up a new canister and register. Thank you!
The road is severely washed out in many places. Most stock 4x4's won't make it. A stock Jeep Wrangler Rubicon will make it, if you know what you're doing.
