Mowbray Ridge
Up the Mowbray Ridge route from Rhodes' Memorial, then to the saddle with Table Mountain. Couldn't find a good route from there to the top of Table so headed down and up Platteklip Gorge.

Route Climbed: Newlands Ravine Date Climbed: 30 April 2005
Hiked up Newlands Ravine to the Saddle and then the firebreak to the summit. We descended around the north side, ending up on Middle Traverse, but we either missed a turnoff or the trail is highly overgrown, because we had to bushwack our way through the fynbos until we got to Mowbray Ridge.
Route Climbed: Mowbray ridge, frontal, silverstream ravine, dark gorge, first waterfall ravine, newlands ravine, ledges Date Climbed: Multiple times between 1993 and 2002
The most intersting ascents of this mountain are in the gorges on the Newlands side in my opinion. Look out for Himalayan Tahr on the ascent.
