Up and down in 6hrs with Scott. See trip report.
Durrance route. Perfect weather and fantastic climb.
Decided to go fast and light, but should have taken more water. Stuck behind 2 slower parties, we were parched in the 85 degree heat. Good route and great summit. Hard to call it a classic with all of the off-width. An earlier start would have helped, but still a fun day with Todd.
Classic climb for sure, loved it! Led odd pitches. Will certainly be back for some other routes.

Good campsites and great climbing every time I've been there.
July 19 and 20.
Walt Bailey, New Wave, and Assembly Line
Some stout climbs! great stuff
Live 45 minutes from the tower...love it!
Can't get enough of the Tower. Durrance is a crap shoot, but Walt Bailey, Soler, El Cracko, McCarthy's West, and Assembly Line is soooo good!
climbed the durrance route with A.J., led P1, P2 and P6. the route took 15 hours as we were stuck behind a group of three, two of whom shouldn't have been on the tower, that wouldn't let us past. the climbing was great, but 2 hr naps in between pitches is an experience i don't need to go through again.
Climbed El Crack Diablo. First day's attempt unsuccessful cause of clouds. Second day we were successful, Good strong route and climb overall.
This was my second lead climb ever. It was AWSOME! Met Frank Sanders near the top. He was kind enough to share some water with me. Thanks Frank! I have since climbed both the Soler and TAD routes on the tower.
Was to young to climb, Someday will conquer this monument
Climbed Durrance Route. Led all pitches. Lots of off-width.
el cracko diablo, teachers lounge and new wave. 5-8, 5.10 and 5.10
We climbed El Cracko Diablo. Fun climb, begining of the first pitch was alittle blocky but then good hand the rest of the way especially the second pitch. Good to touch the top with my future wife!
glad to have made it out there. The weather was good for two days and then the rain came and sent us home. climbed the durrance route and patent pending.(only went to the teachers lounge on p&p)
