Fun little day hike to the summit and back. Trail was clear all the way, and the wildflowers were in full bloom. Views were otherworldly. Definitely recommend

Fun/foggy
Good hike, but it was socked in, so I'll probably be back.

Foggy but Fun
Lovely conditioning hike, even though it was totally socked in. The flora and fauna are nice and take your mind off the switchbacks. Good way to spend a quick day off work.

Nice hike and views
A good, consistently-graded trail to a summit with nice views of the neighboring prominent west-side peaks, e.g. White Chuck, Pugh, Whitehorse, Three Fingers, Sloan.

Hazy Day
Wildfire smoke made for an eerie hazy day in the Cascades.

Slushy Day
Snow-free all the way to the waterfall. Shortly thereafter snow took over the trail. Followed the winter route which was pretty easy to identify with all the footprints.
Got fooled several times by the false summits. The slushy snow made for slow going when it came to kicking in solid steps. It was a slog but worth it. Weather was not the greatest, started sleeting on the way down. But the views were still remarkable.

Amazing Views
Beautiful scenery, bit of a slog on the way up with lots of elevation gain. But a solid trail all the way up. The views from the top make it all worth it.

Nice early winter hike
We had a beautiful day and a trail was already blasted out through the snow
02/15/15 Hiked up and spent the night on the summit. Sunset and Sunrise were incredible

incredible day
Views are great after the switchbacks. Frequent slides on Big Four were fun to see and hear in the distance. Snow bridges over the creek and other runoffs were becoming very iffy in the afternoon. Fun glissades

Smoke from WildfiresLast summer. Lots of switchbacks through forest. Couldn't see much due to smoky skies, but loved every moment of the hike.
