Favorite National Monument  Sucess!

I have hiked most of the trails in the monument. I love Harpers Corner and Echo Park. Ruple Point is a great destination, as well.

Off the Beaten Path  Sucess!

Snuck in for an overnighter...Hit all the listed trails on the Utah side and even had some bouldering time. Literally nobody there. On a May weekend.

Bring water!

remote, desolate, beautiful

Camped and hiked there several times while a teenager in Steamboat Springs. Don't have a clue where we went, but I know we camped on the Yampa River at some point. Left quite an impression on me. I'd like to return someday.

Dinosaur  Sucess!

I really like this area. It's remote, stretches across 2 states, and it's rarely busy. Plus there are dinosaurs!!!

Been Here Several Times  Sucess!

The hiking out at Harper's Corner is spectacular, and scary for a hike. I think that where Major Powell had his own scary adventure.
