Dinwoody Glacier 1968

Crossing the Dinwoody Glacier on a Gannett Peak expedition in the Fall of 1968. Party consisted of Mike Byorick, Jim Hunter, & Neil Albaugh. Crossed the Shoshone Reservation after obtaining a crossing pass at Ft. Washakie. Parked Jim's Chevy out on the range, crossed Horse Ridge and followed Inkwells Trail. Base Camp was at the tree line on Dinwoody Creek.

Cool!

I spent a lot of time in the Tetons and the Beartooths, but never made it up Gannet Peak. It is definatly high on my to do list!
