"Diving Board" just off route...

"Diving Board" just off route to climber's left, midway up Venusian Blind. SuperTopo mentions you should not step on this. Perhaps that was obvious already?

It's hard to see, on the right side, but the end of it that's not in the air is sitting in an alcove, and other rocks are piled on that hidden end of it. Just enough to keep it there, not enough counterweight to keep it there if you stood on it!

Maybe the diving board was formerly standing vertically filling the same alcove, and something made it tilt out, then luckily some other pieces happened to be on its tail at the time to keep it from falling all the way out and down the cliff.

How large is the "diving board?"

If I remember right, it sticks out about 30 inches? It probably has about 12 additional inches (out of sight in the photo) where other rocks are piled on it as a counterweight.

Diving board took a dive?

Didn't see it yesterday. Saw a lot of other stuff that was ready to succumb to gravity's pull.
