think that

  • your photos of flowers are unique and you're a very clever photographer ?
... a 6 year old child can have very good results using a 50€ digital camera :)

  • the photos of your sons, wife or sweetheart could be interesting ?
... could be if your wife or sweetheart in the photos wear scanty dress

  • the photos of your dog (or other pets) showing that it climbs really better than you can make you more likeable ?
... forget it, the better result could be that someone have pity of that poor dog having such a master

  • the photo of "sincerely yours" posing like an hero on the top of a mountain that every years is climbed by 100, 500, 1000 or more people can make other honour or envy you ?
... forget it, the real climbers think : one more cannibal on this mountain, where (and when) is he going to make is last (+) climb ?

  • the 3 pages long trip report about a walk up along white roads or muletracks can classify you as a mountaneer ?
    ... lol !!!

  • the photoshop work that allows you to post 12 different framings of the same photo will make people say "wow" !!
... this can be, all the ones that exchange votes with you will do it :)

  • posting a page of a 20m long route with images captured from the bottom or from a path rising in the hillside can give you the licence of "climber" ?
    ... lol !!!

  • rising in the point system make you climb better or earn money ?
    ... lol !!!

I can leave to your fantasy further questions of this kind ...
I wish you a Happy new year (full of hikes and climbs on real mountains)

    Mixed Opinons

Although there is a pinch of truth in some of these statements, I don't like how you bashed on people who do long approaches to there climbs. I consider them at times to be some of the more die hard fans because honestly how many folks do you know who are willing to go though days of traveling though deep snow, intense bush whacks, days of enduring cold, and still climb a pretty good mountain? Is that not a mountaineer?

    Re: Mixed Opinons

sometimes hiking can be more difficult, tiring and dangerous than alpinism but hiking is not mountaneering
... but the point 5 was not for your stuff :)

    Point #2 and #4

I believe this photo meets criteria for both #2 and #4:

    1. My husband (and others) are scantily clad
    2. I am doing a hero pose on an over-run summit
