Cold morning...
Headed up well before sunrise just a couple days before going down to Chiang Mai for the New Year activities. There were tons of others about (over 100, all from Thailand but for me) and we were a bit faster than most. Reached the summit way early and had to wait quite a while in the cold for the sunrise. A nice experience but really the highlight was visiting all the waterfalls in the park... some a bit involved to locate. Well... that and the soak in the hot spring afterwards.
