Summit via West Face/West Ridge
Snow a plenty. Determined to see the summit without snowshoes on the approach. At times would have stretches of 20-30 yards of stepping into post holes, many past the knees, one fun-filled step at a time. But the top is glorious. I've loved this neck of the woods all my life, having learned to ski at neighboring Sugar Bowl.

North Face
Climbed this one with a small group from SMG. Started at the base of the NW ridge and climbed over the snowshed tunnel. Picked a route and had a fun day on mixed snow, rock, and ice.
I love Donner Summit and was fortunate to be able to climb there about once a week all summer. Even did the highway 40 "climb" via road bike. Awesome descent!

Fun day out on the PCTClimbed 5 peaks this day. Ran across a survey marker at the top and did not disturb it, so that I would not get the $50 fine in 1939 dollars!
