Druid Arch

Druid Arch

The scale of this is hard to imagine. I am standing at the base of this but virtually invisible about a third up from the bottom (of the photo) and a third from the left side. Image by Evan Brandel, Age 12. March 2009.

Great pic

Until i saw this pic, I didn't realize what a neat arch this one was. Next trip to Moab will be to see Druid Arch.

Re: Great pic

Thanks. There are a couple of long routes to here, all are awesomely scenic. The shortest, from Elephant Hill, is outstanding.

Re: Gorgeous shot!

Canyonlands National Park - Needles District in Utah. The whole area is tremendous and unique. We used the Elephant Canyon trail but many stunning options exist that are longer.
