Ha! You are learning!I haven't ascertained what he thinks of that title, but with as many peaks in 3 months as I have done over 40 years I think it is well deserved!
Mindyou, you don't do too badly yourself - your grand slam across the Andes in 2011 comes to mind... I still occasionally look at the great Andes Peak-Bagging TR you did whenever I am in need of an Aconcagua moment
Best wishes
Mark

Re: Ha! You are learning! Thanks Mark! Aconcagua was the pinnacle of my mountaineering career in terms of elevation. I have never been so completely physically exhausted. I realized that changing weather conditions would have put me in a perilous situation. That realization has helped me to decide that I prefer not to climb higher in the future. Of course there is still plenty to do under 7000 meters. Best wishes -Adam

Re: Ha! You are learning!Well, as you may have read, Mark got this crazy idea in his head of climbing Mont Blanc, preferably by the Dome de Miage route, bivvying on top and descend one way or another the next morning. At first I wasn't attracted to the idea, but he managed to convince me to try it. Only the bad weather stopped us from trying, but the mountain is patient ...
Previous acclimatization is absolutely necessary, but it's well under 7000 meters, so, how about it?

Re: Ha! You are learning! If my circumstance allow it, I would be very excited at the prospect of joining you two on this trip in the future.
