Dwarf Onion (Allium parvum)

Dwarf onion grows in dry rocky soil in grasslands and sage brush from eastern Oregon and western Idaho, south Nevada and California. This species can be very difficult to separate from small specimens of Tolmie's onion. Photo from near Halfway, Oregon.
