There was bad weather for weeks in WA so Heather and I drove through OR, CA, NV, UT, and ID. We climbed 37 peaks in 19 days. We hiked Lassen and Eagle Peak on our 3rd day, traversing directly between the two. It was a very short hike. trip report
Was happy to have a peak to myself after the crowd on Lassen yesterday. Great little climb for a steeper ski down into the gulley. Fun short stuff!
Did with Josh Lewis!
With Lassen Peak still closed and nothing else of any height around Shasta decided to combo this with Ski Heil. Very easy, not sure we got a lot of acclimation benefits though. Trip report is HERE.
This was a nice snow climb the morning after summitting Lassen, and followed by our hike out.
Having done the altitude work to reach Ski Heil Peak, I dropped down the snow-covered east side of Ski Heil, then up the west side of Eagle. An interesting little climb through everything Mother Nature has to offer, from snow to shrubs to boulders.
Part of a two day trip coving the ridge from Lassen to just short of Brokeoff. Fun trip with great views.
On to Ski Heil and Diller. Best weather of the week-long Cascades trip that became a Yosemite trip. With Bob, Laura, Adam, and Kevin.
This was a easy scramble to the summit with perfect conditions.
from the Lassen Peak parking lot
Scrambled up the west ridge and slogged down the east ridge.
