Combined with Bean, Mary's and Judi's. Great time, my first in the Teanaway! Trip report here.
Good scramble under the blazing sun.
and then towards Bean for a lolipop loop!
Backpacked up to Earl's south ridge, set up camp, and then hiked up to the summit. Gorgeous views all around! Love the Teanaway in June!
Hit Bean then Earl. Nice day. Couple creek crossings. Half dozen cowboys on the trail.
Traversed Earl, Bean, Volcanic Neck, Devils Head, Bean, Judis, Marys, and Bill with Heather Anderson. 13 hours and 40 minutes round-trip.
I wanted to hit this one before the roads got too snowy, couldn't have waited any longer. Soft snow from Bean creek on had me sinking to my thigh every other step
Easy Class 2 from Bean Creek meadow - completely melted out above the treeline on all but the East face. Fun climb with a great view!
From Bean Creek Basin, short but sweet trip
Bear's first backpacking trip.
Combined Earl and Bean for a great day.
Hoisted the Jolly Roger on the summit!
Did a solo trip to Earl in the morning and Bean in the afternoon... The views really are amazing. Lots of fun scrambling the rocky ridge that separates the two. Bean was more technical, which actually made it more fun out of the two.
I've summited via three ridges and Bean and Standup Creeks. Best on snow but fun as a summer scramble too.
Spent the night on the summit. Blowing like crazy but had great view of Stuart
Climbed with Teri. Started early and had the whole basin to ourselves.
Great peak with a dusting of snow. Did it cobined with Iron Peak.
Scrambled with Bean and Devils Head, views go on forever
Still alot of snow. We scrambled almost directly up the west side.
climbed in june 2004 with littlefrantz...
