Early Access Route

I wanted to hike this one in the spring rather than doing the summer drive up, so I found a good ridge walk route from the south. To access follow Disaster Peak Road out of McDermitt Nevada to Archie Meyers Ranch road to Little Pink Reservoir. Oregon Benchmark Atlas has these roads marked in it for reference. This route is 4.5 miles with about 2500 feet of elevation gain and would be accessible most of the year.
