Re: Great picture

I'm so glad to hear this, dear Guido! There is still a lot more to come, in fact, I might write a trip report. Yesterday and today the fog in Salzburg was as gloomy and impenetrable as ever, but knowing our winter inversion weather inside out by now, I knew what to expect above the fog, and immediately reserved a night's stay at the little mountain inn just above the cable-car station on top of the mountain.

One of my favourites...

...from your recent tour, Eric!

Re: One of my favourites...

Thanks! I'm surprised myself at how the camera captured that sunrise color! On this one and the other sunrise photos I didn't have to do any photoshopping, except the always necessary sharpening!

Danger lurking everywhere!

The footprints tell tales of the path climbed/crossed.
An Amazing and beautiful photo,
Many cheers, Eric,

Re: Danger lurking everywhere!

Thanks a lot, Marc! As to those footprints...it's amazing just where those chamois go, even when there's deep snow and for that reason it's double dangerous...

Re: Danger lurking everywhere!

Thank you for clarifying. I thought those were human footprints.
The photo is amazingly beautiful.

Re: Those are footprints

Thanks a lot! The tracks are those of an animal, probably an alpine mountain goat, a chamois.
Many greetings,

Are those ticklish footprints dotting that side slope? I thought you didn't regard yourself as a climber. Must be seen. Really good 10/10
