east face of Mount Gould

east face of Mount Gould

One of the more impressive rock faces you'll find anywhere... It's about 4,000 feet from the summit of Mount Gould all the way down to Cataract Creek. Photo taken from the summit area of Cataract Mountain. June 30, 2010

Rock Climbing

How come some of those rock climber girls from Yosemite don't come up to our neck of the woods and send some routes that wall?

Re: Rock Climbing

Great question. It seems like routes like the east face of Gould and north faces of Cleveland and Siyeh would draw more of that crowd...

Better Question

Is there a goat trail across this face that could be used to travel from Piegan Pass to Grinnell Glacier? I say yes, but I'm not gonna be the one to go look for it.
