Rory and I returned to the Redstone area for another trip, to reach the summits we had missed last time. This time we headed up the next gully to the left from our last trip starting at Redstone and went directly for East Redstone. From there we headed to Tall Cairn Peak and down a different gully, back to the parking area. Easy trip, less than half a day. Pretty chill terrain compared to most of the area.
We did the 4 Redstone peaks loop in the afternoon after doing The Sentinel that morning. We saw a bighorn sheep.
Other peaks we did during this trip include; Potosi, Cheyenne, Muddy Mountain, Muddy Peak, Virgin, The Orphan, Silica Dome, Cairn, The Sentinel, Redstone, Mystery Cairn, Vista, Hayford, Clark, McCullough, Spirit, Stepladder, Big Maria, False Maria, Black Butte, Chuckwalla, Pinto, Orocopia, Toro, Santa Rosa, and Thomas.

From the Redstone picnic area, a few times. Saw a magnificent bighorn ram once on the saddle.
Crossed over from Redstone Peak. I messed up a couple times trying to find a route, but found my way around pretty quickly. After ascending the gully of Redstone, I descended via the chute on the north side of East Redstone as the sun came out from behind the clouds.
Nice views from the top but didn't like the loose stuff on the way up the ravine. Wanted to hit more peaks but spent too much time playing tourist in VofF.
Just a leg stretcher one morning w/ Redstone as well
From the E peak down to Vista. It was a great year for flowers. Also the peaks to SW.
Did a fun loop hike that included East Redstone Peak, Tall Cairn Peak, Redstone Peak, Mystery Cairn Peak, and Vista Peak.
First of a 5-peak after-work loop of East Redstone Peak, Tall Cairn Peak, Redstone Peak, Mystery Cairn Peak and Vista Peak. 1hr58mins car-2-car. A beautiful area. Fun scrambling up this peak via the prominent steep chute on its west face.
Great day in a very remote and scenic area. There was a small herd of Bighorn Sheep that stayed around for a long time between East Redstone and Tall Cairn Peaks. They made my day!
We passed on Mystery Cairn Peak this time to watch the Bighorns.
Here's the slideshow from this day: Redstone Peaks and more
The views from the summit were awesome and filled with cloud formations never seen and a rainbow over Lake Mead.
