East Ridge

East Ridge

Leading the second pitch of the initial "ramp" on East Ridge of Wolfs Head. This is over mostly easy terrain. We simulclimbed this section to the point where the ridge "flattens out". The second from the party ahead of us is just above me (August 4, 2004).

THanks Haydar.

Actually, you're looking not at a spire but rather the beginning of a narrow ridge. It's a pretty sweet climb one way or another :)

Man, we really should've hit the Winds before leaving Colorado... Looks like incredible moderate climbing on great rock.

Re: Like the name of peak

It is great climbing. We're already making plans to go back there next season. The rock was stellar on this route and so so on Warbonnet for example. I'm sure the more popular climbs have good rock though.

Thanks for stopping by!
