Did Gunsight to South Peak from here belaying from around the Gendarme in summer 1980. Revisited the notch with U.C. Mountaineering to do the Gendarme one afternoon of summer 1986. I believe that Buck Harper was still around in those years.
Markwell of Markwell's climb at Clifton Gorger ran the Gendarme shop in town.
