East Spanish Peak
East Spanish Peak
East and West Spanish Peaks viewed from I-25 in late spring of 2007. Although East Peak is about 800 ft.lower in elevation it appears taller due to the fact that it is closer in distance from this perspective. The standard climbing route for East Peak gains the forested ridge on far right in photo. This ridge can be accessed from the saddle between the summits.
